If drive across China, we advice enter from Tibet, through Yunnan
and exit from Yunnan
If rent the vehicle in China, we advice to drive from Chengdu to
Lhasa (Tibet)
3.Can I take my own vehicle
to drive in China?
Yes. We can assist you to get the temporary vehicle plate and prepare
all entry permits.
4.Can I rent a vehicle in China?
Yes, it's very easy to rent a vehicle in China. We provide 4WD,MPV
and cars. 可以。
5.What kind of papers should
I offer?
Valid passport, Chinese visa, native driving license(not international
driving license)
6.About driving license
International driving license does not work in China at present.
We can apply for a Chinese temporary driving license for you.
7.How about the accommodation?
There are 3-5 stars hotels in most cities in China, small guesthouse
in some towns or counties in remote areas. For special itineraries,
we may need camp.
8.How about the road condition?
Most part are blacktop, some part are on the highway, of course
there are gravel or unsurfaced roads which only 4WD can work.
9.How many kilometers will I drive everyday?
It depends, generally 150km-500km. we can discuss about it in the
certain tour.
